We’re looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our Performance department and help deliver world-class insights across campaigns to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic junior, potentially graduate level candidate, who is looking to take that initial step into data science and build their career in digital marketing. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for online technologies, is familiar with analysing and reporting data, and is inquisitive of trends, changes and opportunities that can be presented through web and data analysis. Previous on the job experience is not required, but the ideal candidate be used to having their head buried in data and be familiar with some of the platforms used to extract, manipulate and report from (specifically MS Excel and Google Analytics). Most importantly, you’ll be a go-getter, naturally curious, and be driven to carve a career in web analytics and marketing performance analysis.
You’ll be working with exciting and varied brands, and your skills will be nurtured and developed. This is a great opportunity to work within a close-knit multi-disciplinary team, working cross-channel. You’ll receive on the job training as well as getting stuck into client activities from day one.
Who we’re looking for – Essential skills
With support from the rest of the team, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of data analysis. Knowing where and what the correct data is to answer a query, exporting data from various platforms, querying the accuracy of data and correcting where needed. You’ll need to own reporting for clients and internal teams and proactively deliver actionable insights on campaign and project performance for the business.
It’s important you’re good with words as well as numbers as you’ll need to communicate across the business, liaising with internal teams to find out not just what they want to know, but also ascertain what will actually be useful to them. You’ll be required to communicate your findings both internally and to client stakeholders in a clear, concise and accurate format so attention to detail is vital.
